RESEARCH
Every year, we invite faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Art to propose research themes related to color, and by supporting highly original and innovative studies, we create an environment where new color-related research takes place every day. Our archives of previous studies can be viewed here.
ABOUT
The International Research Center for Color Science and Art operates in the academic fields of photography, printing, and optics, which correspond to the roots of Tokyo Polytechnic University. Of all the universities in Japan, this is the only one where color is studied as a university-wide theme common to both the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Art.
